I am Dr. Roshana Mallawaarachchi, a consultant anaesthetist with a passion for advancing healthcare in Sri Lanka. I studied at Kingswood College, Kandy, Sri Lanka, before pursuing my medical degree at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya. After completing my MD in anaesthesia, I have been serving as a consultant anaesthetist since 2019, with a special interest in obstetric anaesthesia. My contributions to establishing labour epidural services in Sri Lanka remain one of my proudest professional achievements.
Beyond medicine, I am an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and nature enthusiast. I have founded multiple business ventures, including Voodesk, an innovative customer experience (CX) solutions company, as well as businesses in healthcare and the clothing industry. My vision extends beyond business—I believe in empowering future generations through education, which led me to establish the Help Education Foundation to support and improve education in Sri Lanka.
